The services offered by PinedCloud (PinedCloud Sp. z o.o.) are fully commercial. Your privacy and security are an important part of our business. This policy is based on five pillars:
- Processing of the customer’s personal data
- Password protection of the service
- Cookie policy
- Server logs
- Sharing of personal data
Customer personal data processing
- The controller of your personal data is PinedCloud Limited Liability Company with its registered office in Lublin at ul. Marii Curie-Skłodowskiej 4/12, 20-029 Lublin, KRS 0000967846, NIP 7123434142, REGON 52180957 (hereinafter: PinedCloud).
- Contact e-mail address for data protection matters at PinedCloud: info@pinedcloud.com.
- The website collects personal data only to the extent necessary to perform the agreements provided by PinedCloud.
- The following data may be collected:
- full name or company name and registered address,
- mailing address (street, building and/or apartment number, postal code and city),
- e-mail address,
- phone number,
- NIP / VAT / tax identification number.
- Your personal data will be processed on the basis of Article 6(1)(a)–(c) of the GDPR for the purpose of entering into and performing an agreement between you and PinedCloud for the provision of services offered by PinedCloud, as well as for fulfilling PinedCloud’s legal obligations, detecting and preventing fraud, establishing, defending and pursuing claims, direct marketing, preparing compilations, analyses and statistics, verifying payment reliability, handling complaints and requests, providing technical support, and financial settlements, including issuing accounting documents.
- PinedCloud is entitled to transfer your personal data to third parties (hereinafter: PinedCloud Subcontractors), domain name registries and certification authorities, to the extent necessary for the proper performance of the agreement concluded by you with PinedCloud. Accordingly, your personal data may be transferred to PinedCloud Subcontractors under a data processing agreement between PinedCloud and those Subcontractors. Transfer to domain name registries is based on the domain name registration agreement you conclude with the relevant registry. Transfer to certification authorities is based on the SSL certificate registration agreement you conclude with the certification authority. In addition, PinedCloud is obliged to transfer your personal data where required by mandatory legal provisions, including at the request of authorised courts, authorities and institutions.
- As a rule, your personal data is not transferred outside the EEA. Transfer outside the EEA may occur where necessary to provide your service, including where PinedCloud Subcontractors located outside the EEA are involved.
- Your personal data will be stored for the duration of the contract with PinedCloud for the provision of services in connection with which the data is processed, and thereafter until the expiry of the limitation period for claims arising from that contract. Personal data recorded in accounting documents will be stored for the periods required by applicable law, including tax law.
- Subject to restrictions under the GDPR and other laws, you have the right of access to your personal data and the rights to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection, and to withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
- You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of your personal data infringes the GDPR.
- To the extent necessary for the performance of the contract with PinedCloud, for taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract, and for fulfilling PinedCloud’s legal obligations, processing takes place on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR and does not require your consent. In other respects, providing personal data is voluntary. Where consent is given solely for marketing purposes, providing data is voluntary, but refusal or withdrawal of consent will prevent PinedCloud from informing you about new offers and promotions.
- You may be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, where permitted by applicable law or where you have previously given consent.
Password protection of the service
Each service running on PinedCloud servers is protected by an access password. The password must meet requirements as to length and character types (letters, numbers and special characters), ensuring a level of security appropriate to the risk associated with processing personal data. Access to an account or domain is possible only after proper authorisation. You may change your password at any time using the mechanisms available in the client panel. If you have forgotten your password, a formalised procedure for assigning a new password is available on the website https://pinedcloud.com.
Cookie policy
“Cookies” are text files stored on users’ devices and intended for use with websites. They make it possible, among other things, to identify the type of device and to display websites tailored to individual preferences. Cookies usually contain the website address, the storage period on the device and a unique identifier.
Cookies allow us to:
- ensure the proper functioning of our service,
- improve the speed and security of the site,
- improve the features available on the site,
- use analytical tools,
- use marketing tools,
- use a comment system,
- provide social features.
Consent to cookies. During your first visit to the site, you will see a notice about the use of cookies. Accepting and closing this notice means that you agree to the use of cookies in accordance with this privacy policy. You may withdraw consent at any time by deleting cookies and changing cookie settings in your browser. Please note that disabling cookies may make it more difficult to use this website and other websites that rely on cookies.
First-party cookies. We use our own cookies so that our services work properly. For applications provided by PinedCloud, accepting cookies is required for the proper use of services such as the billing system (client panel).
Third-party cookies. Our website, like most modern websites, uses features provided by third parties, which involves the use of third-party cookies, as described below.
Analytics and statistics. We use cookies to track site statistics such as the number of visitors, operating system and browser type, time spent on the site and pages visited. We use Google Analytics for this purpose. The information collected is anonymous and does not allow you to be identified. Cookies from Google LLC are used for this purpose.
Using Google Analytics involves placing a tracking code provided by Google in the website code. This code is based on cookies but may also use other tracking technologies.
Marketing. We use Facebook marketing tools to show you ads on Facebook. For this purpose we have implemented the Facebook Pixel, which records your visits. Facebook cookies are used for this purpose.
We also use Google Tag Manager and related Google advertising tools to show you ads. Appropriate code is implemented on the site for this purpose. Cookies from Google LLC are used, including Google Ads.
Social features. We may provide social features such as sharing content on social networks and following a social profile. Using these features involves cookies of social network operators such as Facebook.
Server logs
Using our services involves sending requests to the server that hosts the website. Each request is recorded in the server logs.
The logs include your IP address, the date and time of the request, and information about your web browser and operating system. The logs are saved and stored on the server.
Data stored in server logs is not associated with specific individuals using the site and is not used by us to identify you.
Server logs are used only as auxiliary material for administering the website and their content is not disclosed to anyone except persons authorised to administer the server.
Sharing of personal data
- Data is made available to third parties only within the limits of the law or to the extent necessary to carry out an order.
- If you choose to pay for an order electronically (e-transfer, bank card, BLIK), Stripe Inc. or Santander Bank Polska will receive the data necessary to carry out the payment process:
- your name or company name and address,
- e-mail address,
- phone number,
- IP address,
- order number and amount to be paid.
